Kira's 1st tooth!

Well, Kira got a fantastic Christmas present...her 1st tooth! It was really hurting on Christmas Eve and it finally started through on Christmas Day and came completely through on the 26th. So, we're counting it as Christmas Day! :D She is definitely not going to do as well with teething as Hunter did. But, I'm just happy she FINALLY has a tooth! YEAH KIRA! Now, if it would just come through enough so I could get a picture! :D We'll work on that later!

Christmas Morning (Part 1)

Well, our Christmas morning started about 7:30am with Hunter ambushing the Christmas Tree. There was NO time for pictures in front of the tree...just time to open presents. Hunter was very excited to see his new Firetruck and Drum Pad! Santa rocks! Nana and Papa came down to share in the excitement too!

Kira's 1st Christmas (On Christmas Eve)

Well, we started all our Christmas Festivities on Wednesday night (Christmas Eve) with the Gerwick side of the family. We ate dinner, opened presents, and went to church...all in about 3 hours. It was really busy! Hunter was VERY excited and WILD...and Kira was trying to get her 1st tooth through, so she was really cranky and had her tongue was out all night! Here are some pictures from the evening.

My big little girl!

Kira turned 8 months on Saturday! She's getting so big. She weighs 13 lbs. 14 ozs now! That is pretty exciting for us! Hunter was about 16 1/2 lbs. when he was 8 months, so she is a little smaller than he was. But, she beautiful and happy! We did have a small scare of pneumonia or RSV, so she is on a strong antibiotic and breathing treatments until the end of the month. She seems to be doing a LOT better and sounds much clearer. So, hopefully things are working, so we don't have to put her in the hospital in January.

She is putting weight on her legs now and can stand with assistance. But, she's not pulling up on her own yet.

Christmas Light Looking

Friday, Nana and Papa came down and we went to Winfield to see the Christmas lights! Last year, Hunter loved them, so we were really excited to see how he would do this year. He was even more into them! The train almost got Nana's car, the reindeer jumped over Nana's car...and 1 actually landed on it, he saw Tigger and Pooh and all his friends, the giraffe almost fell off the ark. It was definitely full of excitement. Kira just sat there and stared. She couldn't figure out why she was out of her car seat (I had to wake her up so she could see them!) We even went around 2 times so we could see everything...we didn't want to miss anything!



He got to sit on the console up front...he loved it!



Kira sat in his seat and she wasn't sure what was going on.

Pretzels and Presents

The other 2nd grade teacher ha a gift for the kids. She got them 2 bears...a big one for Hunter and a little one for Kira. They were SO cute. So, we took pictures so we could send her an email to thank her for them!

Hunter wouldn't get up there, so Kira got some extra pictures taken!



Hunter helped Mommy dip pretzels for school on Friday. He had so much fun. Between each pretzel, he would ask if he could lick his chopstick. Silly boy! They turned out wonderful and everyone LOVED them! :D



He took his job very seriously! It was tough work!



Thank you Mommy for letting me make a BIG mess...and not get in trouble!!!



Finally, he got to lick! We've got to make cookies for Santa today!

Hunter's new haircut and playing in the snow!

Well, we've been trying to get Hunter's haircut since before Halloween and he wouldn't do it. Then, he got the stitches so we couldn't do it! Finally, after TONS of coaxing and bribing...we got him to do it. He walked in and told Merle, "Just scissors!" He doesn't like all the noisy contraptions! And, he doesn't like the cape and he has to sit on someones lap. So, he sat on Mommy's lap and we were both completely covered in hair...because it was SO long!





Trying to get a good picture is IMPOSSIBLE!!!


Then, it snowed again (since he was sick the 1st go around) so he got to go outside with Daddy and play in the snow for a few minutes! So here are the pictures of that.
