I don't know....maybe I am overreacting a little bit about this babysitter. When I picked up the kids today, they had both just woke up from their naps and they were happy as can be. Hunter helped pick up the toys and the pillows and then he gave Jan a hug and we loaded up Sissy and went bye bye. She said that he only cried for about 2 minutes after I left and then he was fine.
On the way home (All 3 blocks) I asked him if he had fun and what he did and he told me that he had fun and he played with toys and kids. Then he said, "I go to Jan's house tomorrow." I think he likes it there...it's just hard getting used to leaving me since he's been with me mostly all summer. So, I'm hoping that this is just him trying to make the adjustment. I'm sure he will be okay in time. We talked when we got home about how mommy has to go to work, but I will be back to pick up him and sissy. He said, "Hunter big boy, no cry." So, I'm just hoping this all gets better once he gets used to it all. We can only hope!!!!!!!!

LOL. I read the blog this morining and was waiting to see how it turned out. My Advice and this is only my opinion from being on the other side..Give it some more time. That little guy has had some major life changing events since April. He has gotten a new sister, lived with grandpa and grandma, got a new house, a new bed, and a new babysitter all in the matter of a few months. That is a normal behavior from a child that has been home for awhile. And she is right normally 2 minutes after being dropped off they are just fine. Truthfully the best thing to do when he acts like that, and I know from being a mom it is the hardest thing in the world to do is just to ignore it and say I love you, have a good day. But I know it makes you feel afful. I think and from knowing Hunter if there was something really going on there...he would really let you know. So hang in there! Change is hard. Tell the little guy Mandy misses him, and let me know how it all turns out!
